Collection: Matthew Jack

Matthew Jack has worked in silver since he was seven years old. He learned alongside his father, Ray Jack, and through that apprenticeship absorbed both the technical foundation and the cultural weight of the craft. The Night Sky design is the pattern his family has worked in since 2004, and it runs through much of what he makes. Over twenty years of making, his range has widened considerably: cuffs, rings, pendants, and more, each piece grounded in the same Navajo silversmithing tradition he was trained in as a child.

Richardson's has carried his work for over two decades. The late Bill Richardson, who spent his life building relationships with the artists whose work defined this store, made his view of Matthew plain: "Whatever Matthew brings in, we buy." That kind of trust, offered by someone who had seen a century's worth of silversmithing come through these doors, tells you what you need to know about the quality of the work.

Every piece in this collection is one of a kind. When something sells, it leaves the collection. What you see here is what exists.
